TERMS & PRIVACY POLICY
 
 

Sales Terms and Conditions for EXPORT

1.       Prices

  1. Price quoted in USD unless otherwise stated.
  2. Price stated valid for 90 days from date of this quotation and for this project only.
  3. Price quoted only on supply and for white colour sanitary wares.

 2.       Terms of Payment

  1. TT upon order confirmation.
  2. Rigel reserved the rights to hold on to the delivery if outstanding payment are not received.
  3. Deposit collected will not be refundable.

 3.       Lead Time & Delivery

  1. Min. lead time of 8 to 10 weeks upon confirmation of order.
  2. Inventory storage charges of 10% of shipment invoice value per week shall be imposed due to delay in the collection of goods, payment of such to be settled prior to delivery.

 4.       Cancellation & Exchange

  1. Cancellations or exchange (subject to stock availability) are subject to min. 40% surcharge.
  2. No cancellation of order is allowed for customized item.

 5.       Warranty

  1. Rigel Technology shall provide Twelve (12) months warranty for workmanship and materials with effect from date of delivery or certified completion date for project.
  2. During the warranty period, all manufacturing defects will be repaired at no cost and the subsequent replacements, if necessary, will be made free of charge, upon the condition that the products were properly installed and operated within specified environmental conditions. This warranty does not extend to washroom accessories or other peripheral items.
  3. This warranty does not apply wear and tear due to exposure to harsh conditions, Misuse, negligence or accidents, Public abuse or vandalism. Repair or alteration of products done without authorization or consultation from Rigel, Repair or alteration works that do not comply with manufacturer’s installation instructions and repair or alteration works that are done without using genuine spare parts supplied by Rigel.

 

Sales Terms and Conditions for LOCAL

 1.       Prices

  1. Price quoted in Singapore Dollars, excluding GST.
  2. Price stated valid for 30 days from date of this quotation and for this project only.
  3. Price quoted only on supply and for white colour sanitary wares.

 2.       Terms of Payment

  1. COD with 30% down payment upon receipt of official confirmation order.
  2. Full payment must be made at least 5 working days prior to delivery.
  3. Rigel reserve the rights to suspend the delivery if payment is not received in order.

 3.       Lead Time & Delivery

  1. Min. lead time of 8 to 10 weeks upon receipt of confirmation order with delivery schedule.
  2. To provide at least 3 working days notice prior to delivery date.
  3. Delivery shall be made to centralised ground floor level.
  4. Free delivery within Singapore for purchase above S$500.00.
  5. Transportation charges S$50.00 per trip, subject to GST, is applicable for any additional trip for purchase less than $500.00
  6. Any delay in delivery based on scheduled as furnished by customer, Rigel will provide storage of up to 2 weeks as per goodwill, after which Rigel will impose surcharge of up to 5% of each order per day.
  7. Customer to provide revised schedule, failing which Rigel shall not hesitate to release the goods for others. The revised schedule shall subject to new lead time and production schedule.

 4.       Cancellation & Exchange

  1. Cancellations or exchange (subject to stock availability) are subject to min. 40% surcharge.
  2. Exchanged/returned shall be in original packaging and good condition else Rigel reserve the right to reject the items and these shall form part of the billing.
  3. Indent and customisation items are subject to 100% cancellation charges.
  4. Deposit collected will not be refundable.

 6.       Samples

  1. Samples are only on loan basis for period of 3 months.
  2. All samples must be returned at the last delivery of each order, failing which this shall form part of the order.

 

Warranty Policy

If inspection of this Rigel Technology (S) Pte Ltd. (“Rigel®”) sanitary ware and fitting product, within One year after its initial purchase, confirms that it is defective in materials or workmanship, Rigel® will repair or, at its option, exchange the product for a similar model.

This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser and installation of these products. In the event of a limited warranty claim, proof of purchase will be required – save sales receipt. This limited warranty does not apply to local building code compliance. Since local building codes vary considerably, the purchaser of this product should check with a local building or plumbing contractor to ensure local code compliance before installation.

This limited warranty is void if the product has been moved from its initial place of installation; if it has been subjected to faulty maintenance, abuse, misuse, negligence, accident or other damages; if it was subjected to public vandalism; if it was repaired or altered without the use of Rigel® parts; if it was not installed in accordance with Rigel®’s instructions or consultation; or if it has been modified in a manner inconsistent with the product as shipped by Rigel®.

This limited warranty is only valid if full payment of the purchased Rigel® product has been made. The limited warranty is only valid if the warranty card has been filled out in ink and mailed back to Rigel® within 14 days from the date of purchase. Loss or misplacement or unauthorized modification of the warranty card will deem the warranty null and void. This limited warranty does not extend to washroom accessories and peripheral items.

Rigel®’s option to repair or exchange the product under this limited warranty does not cover any labor or other costs of removal or installation. IN NO EVENT WILL Rigel® BE LIABLE FOR THE COST OF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF ANY INSTALLATION MATERIALS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, TILES, MARBLE, ETC. Rigel® will not be responsible for any other incidental or consequential damages attributable to a product defect or to the repair or exchange of a defective product, all of which are expressly excluded from this limited warranty. This limited warranty does not cover any liability for consequential or incidental damages, all of which are hereby expressly disclaimed, or the extension beyond the duration of this limited warranty or any implied limited warranties, including those of merchantability or fitness for an intended purpose. This limited warranty will not be valid due to damage caused by force majeure or natural disasters, especially but not limited to floods, fires or frost damage.

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights.
