As one of the world’s busiest airports, this aviation hub can easily be mistaken as the main culprit responsible for heavy carbon emissions, but the opposite is true – each year, Changi Airport chalks up estimated energy savings of 2,671,948kWh and water savings of 96,141m3 – achievements made possible by various partners that are committed to green technology, including Rigel. With our resource-efficient restroom systems playing a pivotal role in helping the airport’s Terminal 3 achieve the Green Mark Gold Award in 2010, conferred by Singapore’s Building and Construction Authority (BCA), Rigel has shown that in the journey towards greater sustainability, the sky is truly the limit.
