Shimizu Corporation

Like how every drop makes an ocean, the architectural design of this building symbolises the intertwining of individual bamboo stems to form a strong and towering structure that is able to withstand the test of time. And this is just a prologue to Tokio Marine’s inner spirit of sustainability. Through the extensive use of Rigel’s green restroom sensor systems that help users conserve valuable resources each time they answer nature’s call, this renowned Japanese corporation has enjoyed accumulated annual water and energy savings of 5,400m³ and 830,000 kWhrs respectively. Our client’s spirit to make everyday resource efficiency go a long way has been given the thumbs-up when they were conferred the BCA Green Mark Gold Plus Award in 2007.
