Rigel has had its share of success in the business world, and we are honoured to be able to give back to the community with our CSR outreach.

Not all of us benefit from the same advantages in life, but we feel that all of us can play a part in making the world just that little bit better, for everyone.

  Nurturing tomorrow's talents

With Rigel’s emphasis on innovation and new ideas to advance, it is no wonder that we are always eager to foster new talent. Most recently Rigel sponsored the Product & Industrial Design awards for Temasek Polytechnic’s School of Design.

Doing our part for our elders

On 18 June 2013, it went beyond just business as usual for 10 Rigel staff, as they took part in a special company outing, organised to give something back to the older generation.

  Happier Kids Made Our Day

As part of our CSR outreach, Rigel opened up a new world to a group of underprivileged children, mainly from lower-income families. A visit to the Mint Museum of Toys was a real eye-opener for the kids (and probably some of the adults too!), bringing some joy and fun into their lives.

Bathroom designs for everyone, including the elderly & disabled

On 26 April 2013, Rigel participated in BCA's Universal Design Exhibition at Marina Square, an event which focused on designing facilities to be inclusive of all members of society, including the young, elderly and those with limited mobility.

  Taking Care of Staff Well-being

A safe, healthy work environment is paramount. Without it, no workplace, no matter how productive, can be truly complete. Rigel has been participating in the Workplace Safety & Health Council’s bizSAFE programme with the knowledge that safety is an essential factor, not a costly add-on.
